Service Description
Learn the craft of furnace glassblowing through six hands-on, 3-hour classes—18 hours of guided instruction. We arrange your class dates and times with you to fit your schedule. Classes can be spread out at a pace that works for you; the course does not have to be completed in six consecutive weeks. Beginners are welcome. Build your skills with an artist guiding you through working with molten glass, using the tools, and creating your own pieces. Graduates can continue practicing by renting furnace time at Glass Deer. Contact us to arrange your six classes. Call or text 850-865-7868 or use chat. Cooling, pickup & shipping Your glass needs at least 24 hours to cool. Pick up your finished work at the studio, or arrange shipping. If you are visiting on vacation, plan your class before your departure and discuss pickup or shipping with us.
Cancellation Policy
We strive hard to be flexible with cancellations and rescheduling. If you cannot make an appointment, please call 850-865-7868. Cancellations will be rescheduled or issued a gift certificate for a future class. No shows or same day cancellations will not be refunded or offered a credit. Please understand our studio incurs costs prepping for workshops prior to the event (ie heating the furnace etc.). 24 hour notice is required for cancellations
