Service Description

Shape glass at the torch with an artist guiding you through a hands-on experience. You can bring any idea you like; flowers, ornaments, and small sculptures are popular choices, not a fixed project menu. We will help you choose techniques suited to your experience and class time. Create small glass sculptures or jewelry using a stationary torch in this hands-on Santa Rosa Beach workshop. No experience is required. Our trained instructors introduce safety, tools and the basics of shaping glass, then guide you as you practice sculpting simple forms or making beads and pendants. Your finished pieces can be taken home after annealing, the controlled cooling process that helps strengthen the glass. Shipping is available. This is a hot glass experience. Hydrate before and during class, wear closed-toe shoes and natural-fiber clothing. Typical class duration: about 2 hours. Cooling, pickup & shipping Your glass needs at least 24 hours to cool. Pick up your finished work at the studio, or arrange shipping. If you are visiting on vacation, plan your class before your departure and discuss pickup or shipping with us.
