Owner and artist Brit Deslonde began her journey in glass in 2007. Her love for detailed flamework and artistic vision led her to establish her own company, specializing in commissioned pieces, sculpture and mixed media art. Captivated by how glass can capture light and movement, her creations draw inspiration from nature, water, and the fluidity of abstract lines.

 

Brit honed her skills through training at various glass studios and an eight-year apprenticeship with the esteemed Russ Gilbert, owner of Fusion Art Glass. This experience allowed her to master large-scale furnace work, Flame work  and warm glass techniques, a combination rarely seen in the glass world.

 

Currently, Brit focuses on sculptural glass, blending her expertise in three glass genres with her passion for diverse creative pursuits.. Her work has been showcased in galleries and museums across the country. She is now the proud owner of Glass Deer.
